Before we started this project, we stripped the existing finishes, coatings, and sealers. Then, we cleaned the floor with selected detergents and cleaning agents. This removed dirt, oils, and contaminants from the depths of the stone. The staircase was then pressure washed. Finally, we applied a stone sealer to the surface of the staircase.
