Refinishing Metal is the Key to Longevity

Baker’s refinishes multiple aluminum doors in Pleasanton building

All metal deteriorates over time. It’s important to take care of metal surfaces by cleaning them with the proper cleansers and scheduling regular maintenance. Although metal is considered a relatively permanent and stable material, it will deteriorate over time. If left unattended, metal will become harder to maintain. That’s why it’s important to hire a metal specialist to refinish the surface when you start to see significant wear and tear. Baker’s Floor and Metal is known for our metal refinishing work. Our metal refinishing technicians have state-of-the-art training and use advanced skills to provide our clients with an exceptional final product.

Baker’s recently completed an aluminum door refinishing project in Pleasanton. For this project, we repaired the damaged areas of four hoistway entrances and eight doors. First, we used specially selected fillers, compounds, and putties. Then, we matched the refinished areas to the existing surface using aluminum powders. We finished the project by cleaning with a specially designed aluminum cleaner and micro-sealer.

At Baker’s, we believe in our work and strive for 100% customer satisfaction on every job. In addition to aluminum work, we also specialize working with bronze, brass, copper, stainless steel, iron, nickel, and cold rolled steel.

Every metal project is different and our techniques depend on the type of metal and its condition. Our metal refinishing techniques are as unique as the metals. They include:

  • Graining
  • Repair
  • Scratch Removal
  • Washing
  • Polishing
  • Waxing
