Baker’s revives concrete surface in large San Francisco building

Baker’s recently completed a concrete grinding and sealing project at a large apartment community in San Francisco. This 5,484 square foot project required 12 man days to complete. Our expert technicians first stripped the existing finishing, coatings, sealers, and carpet glue. They filled the holes and blended to the adjacent floor using a planetary grinder (which utilizes rotating disks) to level, smooth, and clean the concrete slab surface. Finally, they applied a concrete sealer. Concrete sealers protect the concrete from surface damage, corrosion, and staining. Most concrete damage happens when the surface becomes wet. Our concrete sealers block up to 99% of surface moisture. Our sealers also extend the life of the concrete by keeping salt, chemicals, and dirt out.
