Epoxy Coating
A versatile, long-lasting, and reliable solution for your concrete flooring
Are you curious about epoxy coating but unsure how the process works and if it’s the right choice for your commercial flooring? Do you have an older concrete floor that needs a little attention? Baker’s Floor and Metal is your solution for epoxy coating and concrete floor preservation.
Commercial flooring can take a beating, especially if it’s in high traffic areas or spaces with heavy machinery. Unfortunately, we often see floor maintenance at the bottom of the “to-do” list. Concrete floors will deteriorate over time without proper maintenance. Divots, holes, or cracks can also cause injury to an employee or anyone walking through your building.
It’s important to keep your floors in pristine condition to avoid injury and preserve your concrete. One of the best ways to protect and preserve your floors is with an epoxy coating. Epoxy is extremely versatile and comes in many shades and colors. It also comes in a variety of textures and thickness. Epoxy allows you to get creative with your flooring. Whether you’re in an industrial building or a more “creative” space, there’s an epoxy that’s perfect for your floors.
Baker’s has extensive experience with concrete and epoxy coating and recently completed this type of job in a local Bay Area commercial space. Before we started, we tested the concrete density to determine the proper media. Then, we ensured the cracks and divots were filled with epoxy filler. We installed moisture barriers onto the floor and then applied a water-based epoxy basecoat. When that dried, we applied a water-based epoxy topcoat. Our clients chose the color based on a provided color chart.
At Baker’s we understand budget is important, so we offer a variety of epoxy flooring options based on your budget and needs. We also have highly trained epoxy technicians who will assess your flooring and help you decide which epoxy flooring is best for you.
Baker’s is committed to excellence and guarantees our jobs will be completed as specified and according to your individual needs. If you’re interested in epoxy flooring, please give Baker’s a call today.
